Marshmallow's Big Move follows Marshmallow the dog as he moves into his new house with his humans, Ellie and Noah. Marshmallow has uncertainty as he learns he is moving from his home and fear sets in. He is scared that he will not make new friends, not like the new house as much as the old, become lost in the new house, and not have as much fun as he usually does. As we discover Marshmallow's fears we see him comforted by the ones he loves and trusts (Ellie and Noah). They help him gain the courage to make the big move. In the end, Marshmallow loves the new home just as much as the last. This, however, is not because of the home itself, but because the people he loves most are with
him.

This book explores the ideas of trust, new experience, bravery, family and friend bonding, and emotional intelligence for children ages 4-7 with 14 illustrations and three writing prompts for readers to relate their own experiences to Marshmallow.
